A special holiday celebration

During the holidays last year, we hosted an intimate gathering for our dearest family and friends. It was in fact, a holiday party that doubled as a gender reveal! With help from my lovely vendor friends, the intimate table for twelve featured the most lavish florals by Da Fiori Design, with elegant gold tableware from Camilia Supply, and classic gold chairs from Le Marais Decor. Cornwall Stationery created the most darling stationery for our celebration, including a vellum piece for guests to fill out their baby guesses. It was familiar to be back at Hawksworth Restaurant (the same venue we got engaged and married in), and the 4-course dinner was nothing short of exquisite. For dessert, Soirette created the most delectable treats including gender reveal macarons speckled with gold. The piece-de-resistance was of course, the two-tiered gender reveal cake which featured stunning deckled gold edges and the most delicious earl grey buttercream.

I’ve personally never been a big fan of blue and pink baby shower parties, so I was incredibly pleased to see my vision of an elegant dark green and neutral palette come together so beautifully for this special holiday celebration. Many thanks to Beige Weddings for always capturing these precious moments for us! Even though the holidays this year may be more intimate than some of you are used to, I hope you draw some inspiration from this post and still celebrate with a lavish feast for the loved ones in your household. Happy Holidays! x
