An Intimate Ceremony for Three

Our beautiful couple N & S had discussed having a wedding many times, but never quite committed to the idea. Fast forward seven years with now a beautiful daughter, they decided to elope in Vancouver this August. Even though it was an intimate elopement with only their closest friends and the mother of the bride present, they sure did not skip any details! N chose a stunning one-shouldered blush gown by Rara Avis with beautiful beaded details, while her little girl dazzled in a lovely tulle dress. Da Fiori Design designed a romantic and organic garden-inspired bouquet for N, with a miniature version for the adorable flower girl of course! And let’s not forget about cake — Cake by Nicole designed a statement wedding cake adorned with cascading wafer paper butterflies that fluttered effortlessly in the breeze.

In an understated corner of Hycroft Manor, N & S said their vows to each other, followed by lots of love and laughter as they enjoyed cake and champagne with their loved ones. Although it was raining that evening, it was also unexpectedly romantic as the pair embraced the rain together. No relationship is all sunshine, and N & S remind us that when you learn to dance in the rain, you can survive passing any storm together.
